The Natural Science Museum in Guadalajara, Mexico is an ongoing project masterplanned and designed by Met Studio. The museum explores the sciences through galleries organised by environment; Rivers & Lakes, Coast & Sea, Urban & City, Farmlands & Agriculture, Mountains & Forests, each with hands-on visitor learning at its core. Galleries involve a number of visitor experience techniques including ‘live’ environments like vertical farms, immersive terrariums and recreations of river ecosystems, providing a diverse and holistic offer.

Being part of both the masterplan and developed design stages my role was to develop a successful overarching framework for the masterplan and take the role of Lead Designer, on the Rivers & Lakes gallery, during developed design. Key to the design was to create a holistic museum and gallery framework with a strong concept that allowed the inclusion of a variety of engaging interactive exhibits.
