Imperial War Museum

The Second World War Gallery at the Imperial War Museum, London was a creative tender undertaken by Real Studios. Although unsuccessful in the tender, the design and analysis of the content was a worthy exercise in dealing with difficult and extensive content. Utilising the idea of a 'turning point' during the war, where the allies began their road to victory, the gallery could be arranged chronologically and geographically, using a central corridor of ‘Total War’, a theme where visitors explore the far reaching aspects of the war on all society, that had never been seen before.

As Gallery Lead I worked closely with the creative director to shape the proposal and organise the content spatially. As a creative tender, the design team was only myself with input from the creative director and a content consultant. This meant working individually on the production of all documentation and design assets.
