Wales Is… Gallery

The St Fagan's Museum has recently opened its doors again to both the public and a museum of the year award. Event communications designed the regenerative masterplan as well as the gallery design across all of the spaces. The ‘Wales Is...’ gallery focuses on the history of Wales from the first settlers in the country through to modern day. Each of the moments in time are extruded from the gallery floor to create displays that entice the visitor to explore these capsules of time.

As Lead Designer for the concept design of the ‘Wales Is...’ gallery I developed a creative process as well as developing the conceptual design. A series of workshops allowed the client to connect with the design process and focus their messaging to allow a design to deliver a vast amount of content in a limited space.
